    title

    • Friday 4th November saw the staging of our first collective exhibition Blow Up, marking the launch of our collective publication of works, also called Blow Up and designed in collaboration with Maud.

    • Pool photographers Sean Izzard, Simon Harsent, Danny Eastwood, Christopher Ireland & Ingvar Kenne exhibited their own shows inside 20ft shipping containers, that we delicately dropped onto the turf of the Botanic Gardens.

    • We were joined by a host of Sydney's advertising and design luminaries who descended upon Fleet Steps in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens for the invite-only soiree.

  • she runs the night |ˈnīkē|
    title

    • She Runs the Night was an inaugural 13km race through Centennial Park Sydney on the evening of 3 May 2012. 

    • Developed for Nike by US Sydney, Pool Collective were asked to come on board as creative collaborators to imagine a series of heroic images and mini-films of the race ambassadors that were recruited from the Nike She Runs Facebook community. 

    • It was shot by Simon Harsent in and around the dark streets of Sydney over 2 nights from 8pm till 6am.

    • Across the two nights of shooting, we created a series of print ads, outdoor posters and online films. The films we’re linked via a QR code in mags & on metrolites and when scanned, launched a video inviting others to join a particular runner/ambassador for local training sessions and night runs in the lead up to the race.
